The Roundhouse

The Junee Roundhouse is the only surviving, working railway roundhouse in the Southern Hemisphere. Today Junee Railway Workshop, a private rail operator, and the Regional Heritage Transport Museum use the facility.

Junee & District Historical Museum

The Junee & District Historical Museum, moved to new premises situated in the ex-Broadway Hotel, Broadway, in April 2003. It is a remarkable place to visit for a detailed look at the history, heritage and colourful events that have taken place in Junee.  The Museum building is also home to the heritage coffee shop and lollie bar.

Junee Junction Recreation & Aquatic Centre

The Junee Junction Recreation & Aquatic Centre was completed in 2003. One of the most modern centres of its kind it incorporates a multi-purpose indoor arena, 50 metre pool (25 metre heated in winter), program and toddler pool, fitness centre and skate park.  Water aerobics are held for all ages daily.

Golf

The Junee Golf Club has one of the Riverina’s most interesting and challenging 18 hole, 72 par golf courses.

Bowls

We have two licensed bowling clubs in town, the Junee Ex-Services Bowling Club and the Junee Bowling Club.

Tennis

Junee has a number of tennis courts available for hire and is adjacent to the Junee Aquatic Centre.
