Best Caravan Park in 7,000 kms

Good wide caravan sites, great camp kitchen - instant hot water, wonderful clean amenities. Were last here in 1998 and are very impressed with the improvements. Can't wait to be back.

What a lovely start to a memorable weekend. As indicated on the sign at the entry, owners Peter & Faye Mansell really made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble! For example: where else has there been freshly laundered bath mats for use in the showers and the piles were miraculously constantly replenished!
Despite being a relatively small caravan park, by opening up the disabled and parenting amenities for general use the facilities were more than adequate for 37 Avan's & 71 Avanner's

Just a note to give you our opinion of your caravan park. Over the years we have travelled around Australia a lot. We have stayed in some good, some not so good & some really bad caravan & camping parks but we have to give it to you both your park is the best we have stayed in for a very long time. The amenities were clean and in the shower blocks it was great to have curtain so that your clothes don't get wet while you are showering. The toilets were spotless and tidy, the barbeque area was the same and the lawns considering there is a drought on were superb and well kept.
We intended to stay one night but everything was so nice and relaxing that we decided to stay two and would have stayed longer only for work commitments. So far as we are concerned Peter & Faye you have one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in and all thought you deserve a letter of appreciation. thank you both for a lovely weekend.

Dear Pete & Faye
You are both to be congratulated on your caravan park. We can't say much else other than it would put the best parks in Australia overall to shame

We would like to thank you for your kindness. We have felt relaxed even when we have needed help (somehow I think one tends to panic a little more with the years)!!! Everything has been just right and we couldn't have wished for a better place to have to wait for the van to be mended. Hope you find time between the raking and weeding to enjoy the chocolates.
Thank you again
Greatful Caravanners.

To Faye & Peter
We have arrived back home in Adelaide. I have to admit in our 30 yrs of travelling that your park is
definitely, if not the best we have every stayed in. I could not have asked for better surroundings
for the week I was sick. You should be proud of what you have accomplished.

In April 2006 we received a hand written note from Tony Abbott, who at that time was Federal Member for Warringah following his stay with us.
It said,
Dear Peter & Faye
Thanks so much for making the recent Pollie Pedal so welcome. I really appreciate the work you did to make the ride a success. Thanks in part to your work, this years Pollie Pedal raised over $200,000 for prostrate cancer research.
Yours sincerely
Tony Abbott
Note: His hand written message says -
PS: It was great to stay in such a well kept park and be made so welcome.
The massage was teriffic!!!
